What we do
Church Resources serves the church by helping congregations & individuals understand the implications for Mass Aging. For the last decade we have offered a research tool called the Senior Ministry Inventory that helps congregations understand the unique needs and gifts of people over the age of 50. The survey is a Case Study of each congregation that participates, which means that the data provided gives an accurate picture of that particular congregation. The data of one congregation is not mixed or grouped with another, thus it gives an accurate picture of the needs and gifts in a particular place. It is designed to be given to all adults age 50+ in a congregation and three reports are generated from the collected data.
No cost to your church
No cost to your congregation. There is a $12 processing fee paid by the individual. In return everyone who takes the inventory receives a full color, four page, easy to read report. The Individual Report covers all areas associated with aging and functions as a prioritized to-do list.

Theological Perspective
Of the 174 questions in the Inventory, two-thirds (115) of all questions focus on the medical, social, psychological, community, housing, legal and relational needs of the individual. One-third of all questions (59) focus on the faith needs of the individual. Addressing the needs of the whole person, the Inventory is the most comprehensive older adult research instrument available today.
Research for congregations large and small
The Inventory is an important ministry tool for small, medium and large congregations in all settings; rural, small town and urban. The results of the Inventory are as important to congregations with 30 active members as it is to urban congregations of 10,000 or more.
